Diana Mathis

Awarded a diploma in European studies, D. Mathis specializes in development of European projects by attending a post-graduate diploma of political sciences "European construction: Institutions, territories, public policies" then a MA "Local and regional administrations in Europe" at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Strasbourg.
She does several traineeships respectively within the Council of Europe, the Center of European Studies of Strasbourg / ENA, the Conseil Général du Bas-Rhin, and holds down in 2006 within the Department of Youth and Sports of the Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg. She is in charge of the setting up of the "European Youth Forum" (European Youth Program), as well as of the administrative and financial management of the project. Afterward, Diana Mathis joins the Service of European and International Relations of the Communauté Urbaine de Strasbourg, where she follows the projects connected to the European city networks (Club of Strasbourg, Cités Unies France, Eurocities, AFCCRE). She ensures information watch with regard to the possibilities of participation in various European projects and of funding in various fields of cooperation with partner cities. Her knowledge of the European networks is an excellent resource in the setting up of the European projects, notably in the search for partners.
In 2007, she joined YTES and monitors our European programs, does foresight studies on the opportunities of European funding and training. She has also in charge the project concerning the skills promotion of the free zone in Lille, financed by the ESF.
While mastering perfectly French, Diana Mathis is of Romanian mother tongue, what presents a considerable advantage, at a moment when Romania makes, with Bulgaria, the object of a quite particular attention from EU authorities. Finally, her working experience within multicultural teams allows her to approach serenely the intercultural complexity, notably in the management of the partnerships relations within a consortium.
