An in-depth understanding of the constraints of an organization and of financing possibilities
Julia achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business administration and international Studies at Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe. There she learnt to evaluate the needs and constraints of an organization and she acquired knowledge and competences in marketing, management and finance. Today, she can put these competences into practice when managing European projects and consortia.
After her business studies, Julia completed her profile with a specialization in franco-german cooperation during a Master's degree in European Studies at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Strasbourg. This way, she learnt how European politics and the institutions of the European Union work.
Julia completed her theoretical knowledge with practical experiences during several traineeships in European and franco-german organizations like the Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union, the International Association of the Friends of Tomi Ungerer, the Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau and the Upper Rhine Conference. Thereby, she got to know the reality of European organizations and the organizations of the franco-german cooperation in the Upper Rhine Valley.
Intercultural competences
In addition to the work experience, Julia gained in intercultural experience during her journeys in Germany, Belgium, France and Canada. These traineeships or study journeys also helped her perfect her language competences. Today, these experiences help her when working with international project teams.
